The new LSN01 LoRaWAN® Audible and Visual Alarm turns digital alerts into clear sound and light warnings for people on site.
Sensors and trackers send equipment, environmental, and location data to the platform, which triggers an alert when preset conditions are met. However, if the alert remains on a dashboard, in an email, or on someone’s phone, personnel near the affected area may not notice it immediately.
This problem becomes more difficult to manage across large facilities. A notification received in a control room may not reach workers on a production floor, inside a cold storage room, near a loading dock, or in an outdoor utility area.
Minew has launched the LSN01 LoRaWAN® Audible and Visual Alarm to close this gap. It converts digital events from compatible IoT monitoring and tracking platforms into sound and light warnings for people on site.

Bring Platform Alerts to the Affected Area
LSN01 serves as the on-site warning point within an IoT alarm workflow.
Sensors and trackers send monitoring data or alert events to a compatible cloud platform, either directly or through a gateway. Their upstream connectivity can vary depending on the application. When the platform identifies a preset alarm condition, it sends a command to LSN01 through a LoRaWAN gateway.
LSN01 then activates its sound and flashing light to notify nearby personnel.
This means the alarm source is not limited to one type of sensor or tracking device. Equipment monitoring, environmental sensing, worker safety, access control, and asset tracking systems can all provide events that trigger an LSN01, provided they are integrated with the platform.

Build a Scalable Alarm Network Across Large Facilities
A single central alarm may not provide effective coverage across multiple buildings, floors, rooms, or outdoor areas. Even when it is loud enough in one zone, personnel elsewhere may not hear it or know whether the warning applies to their location.
Multiple LSN01 units can be deployed as independent alarm points in different areas of a facility. The platform can be configured to trigger the unit located in or near the affected area instead of sending every warning to one central alarm.
For example, separate units can be installed in a production area, cold storage room, loading zone, utility room, and outdoor yard. A cold storage temperature alert can activate the unit near the relevant storage area, while an equipment fault can trigger another unit on the production floor.
Each LSN01 acts as a platform-controlled alarm point. The units do not need to communicate directly with one another. As new work areas, buildings, or monitoring applications are added, businesses can deploy additional alarm points where local warnings are needed.
This scalable structure helps teams extend on-site alert coverage without relying on a single alarm location to serve an entire facility.
Make Critical Warnings Easier to Notice
Busy industrial environments can make digital notifications, and even single-mode alarms, easy to miss. LSN01 combines a sound output of at least 110 dB with a high-intensity flashing light, helping warnings attract attention in noisy work areas or locations with limited visibility.
LSN01 also provides three selectable warning tones: Police, Fire, and Ambulance. The tone is selected on each unit, allowing different units to use recognizable sounds for specific event categories or areas.
For example, units assigned to equipment alerts can use one tone, while units assigned to environmental or facility alerts use another. This can help personnel distinguish between established alert categories and follow the appropriate response procedure.

Support Different Monitoring and Tracking Applications
Smart Factory Safety Management
Equipment monitoring systems can trigger local warnings when abnormal vibration, high temperature, or another preset fault condition is identified. Events from worker safety, access control, and production systems can also be brought to the relevant factory area.
Warehouse and Logistics Alerts
Warehouse teams can receive on-site warnings for cold storage temperature excursions, water leaks, unauthorized asset movement, and geofence breaches. Locating alarm units near key operational zones helps personnel notice events without waiting for someone in an office to relay the information.
Environmental Monitoring Systems
Alerts from smoke detectors, gas detectors, water leak sensors, temperature sensors, and other monitoring devices can be converted into sound and light warnings.
Campus and Facility Safety
Alarm points can be deployed across laboratories, classrooms, dormitories, utility rooms, storage areas, and outdoor spaces. This allows facility teams to extend local warnings into areas that may be far from a central control room.
Designed for Reliable On-Site Alerting
Long-range LoRaWAN® connectivity supports the deployment of alarm points across large facilities within network coverage. Its IP65-rated enclosure also makes LSN01 suitable for industrial and facility environments where exposure to dust and water may occur.
By combining platform-triggered control, audible and visual warnings, selectable tones, and flexible multi-unit deployment, LSN01 helps businesses bring critical alerts closer to the people who need to respond.
