In Dafu Community, 深圳, Minew worked with community staff to provide support to 28 households facing financial or personal challenges. The households included low income families, older adults living alone, and people with disabilities.
Before the distribution, Minew coordinated with community staff to better understand the needs of the participating households. Essential items such as rice, cooking oil, milk, and other daily necessities were then prepared based on those needs.
Minew employees also participated in home visits and helped deliver the supplies directly to residents. The visits gave employees an opportunity to speak with community members, learn more about their everyday circumstances, and provide support beyond the distribution of essential items.
Community support has also extended beyond Shenzhen. During the winter, Minew contributed bedding for young people from 200 families in Chayu County. The donation was intended to provide practical winter essentials for families living in a region where colder conditions can make adequate bedding particularly important.
Rather than treating community engagement as a single type of activity, Minew seeks to respond to different needs in different communities. In Dafu Community, this meant working closely with local staff and employees to support households through daily necessities and personal visits. In Chayu County, the focus was on providing useful winter supplies to young people and their families.
These activities form part of Minew’s broader approach to social responsibility, which also includes community service, education support, and care for older adults.
