“The MG6 Stellar Gateway isn’t just a hub—it’s a game-changer,” says Nikki, IoT Product Manager at Minew. “Throughout the R&D journey, we faced many challenges. The MG6 device integrates multiple radio technologies – W-lan, Bluetooth, 4G, and LoRaWAN – each requiring dedicated antennas. To prevent signal interference between these antennas, we meticulously analyzed their performance through voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) measurements, return loss evaluations, and Smith chart diagnostics. We also carried out extensive field testing across three environment types: wide-open spaces, partially obstructed areas, and signal-cluttered zones – all to fine-tune real-world transmission reliability. The modular architecture allows businesses to start with essential functions and expand capabilities as needed.
